Labor Day Weekend. Another summer floats away. We usually don't get to stay at Little Bear on holiday weekends and this year was no different. While we were "labor-ing" at our home, Cathy's sister and husband were vacationing in Branson and invited us down for dinner. We got to experience some good Highway 76 holiday traffic. Oh boy. Here's a hint- Yellow or Blue route. We ate at Andy Williams Moon River Grill. Cathy had the bourbon grilled salmon, medium rare, and it was buttery perfect. I had the pecan encrusted trout and it was equally delicious. The service was great. All of the art there is from Andy's personal collection. I was staring at a four square of Marilyn Monroe by Andy Warhol. Amazing. I really like all the old photos from his golf tournaments and tv show. If you go there, don't miss the outdoor lounge that's carved out of the rock. Perfect to wind down the evening.

After dinner, we went back to their condo to visit. It was nice and much better than a hotel. I was talking to Cathy about it on the ride home and told her how happy I was we owned our log cabin. "Why?" Because their condo was a place to "stay" but it wasn't a place to "experience" like Little Bear.

Thanks to everyone who stayed with us this summer and we hope those coming this fall will have a great Little Bear experience in Branson. Now time for some more Andy Williams music.
